Our top priority: The quality of our products and the safety of our people
In 2009, Adwen (then Multibrid) installed Germany’s first offshore wind farm, alpha ventus, and has today more than 600 MW installed at sea. Adwen’s employees, however, have more than 20 years of wind experience in designing, manufacturing, installing and operating wind turbines both onshore and offshore.
Adwen’s 5 MW platform powers three offshore wind farms in the German North Sea and a fourth one is currently being installed in the Baltic Sea, bringing the total installed capacity of this platform up to close to 1 GW.
Best-in-class operation and maintenance solutions
Adwen offers best-in-class operation and maintenance solutions aimed at avoiding expensive offshore reparation works, increasing availability and maximizing energy production thus leading to improved profitability for project owners. The reliability of the technology coupled with the know-how accumulated operating and servicing offshore wind turbines place Adwen in a leading position to continue developing this nascent industry.
The quality of our products and the safety of the people are always our top priority
Keeping people safe has always been our top priority. Our goal of bringing down the cost of offshore wind energy has to be achieved whilst keeping people and the environment safe. For that reason, a culture of prevention and continuous improvement is promoted at all levels with the aim of achieving zero accidents and being the benchmark in the industry in terms of health and safety. All our contractors, suppliers and any other company under our operational control must also follow our HSQE policy and procedure.
