Protection of Personal Data
The personal data provided through the Site as well as any other personal information that the User may provide at any time to Adwen shall be included within a personal data file owned by the latter, duly registered with the Spanish Data Protection Agency and maintained under Adwen’s responsibility. The purpose of such personal data file is to properly manage the relationships maintained with the User or, where appropriate, with the Registered User in connection with the adequate use of the Site.
In the case of those Users that simply access the Site with the purpose of browsing contents and information, Adwen shall only keep certain information about the User’s IP address used to access the Site, date and time of access, Internet address containing the link that redirected the User to the Site, if any, and other information for statistical data purposes only.
In the case of those Users that have acquired the status of Registered Users, in accordance with the conditions and with the scope stated in the Legal Notice, Adwen may request certain identifying information which will, where appropriate, be provided freely and voluntarily for the abovementioned purposes.
The Website may contain and use “cookies” which are small files with pieces of information that are stored on the User’s computer. Cookies are not enabled to access the data contained in that computer or on the User’s hard drive and its main purpose is to facilitate the navigation of the user experience on the Website. The user has at all times the ability to administer and manage the generation of “cookies” through appropriate choices made available by the Internet browser of the User. Not accepting cookies does not prevent the operation of the user by the Web Site unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Adwen has determined that certain areas of the Website may be accessible by the user, or where appropriate by the Registered User, in a secure environment to ensure that the data shall be encrypted, in order to prevent its unauthorized use and access by third parties. This safe environment may be identified through the server address as it will start with the term “https:” instead of “http:”.
International transfer of personal data
The User or, where applicable, the Registered User expressly and unequivocally agrees to and accepts the international transfer of personal data to other entities that belong to Adwen whether if domiciled in the Spanish territory or abroad, regardless if they offer or not a level of protection comparable to the one established in the Data Protection Act, and all this insofar as is necessary to properly manage the relationships that Adwen has with the user.
Access, rectification, cancellation and opposition
Users may at any time exercise their rights of access, rectification, cancellation and opposition regarding their personal data by sending a written notification to Adwen, attn. Legal Department at the following address: Parque Tecnologico, Edificio 208, 48170 – Zamudio (Vizcaya). They may also exercise their rights by sending an email to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org. Such written communication must include the User’s name, address, date, signature as well as a photocopy of the ID card or other valid document that identifies the User.
